There are so many people in this world who are lucky enough to have lots of people they call friends. People they go out with and talk to on the phone, have play dates with each others children etc. Not me. I know A LOT of people. For the most part I enjoy people, but there are few whom I REALLY call Friend. To me, Friend is a special word to be reserved for someone special. A Friend is someone who will tell you what you NEED to hear even if it isn't something you WANT to hear. A friend will be there when times are tough, times are good, the birth of your child, a marriage or a divorce, in sickness and in health. Friendship is pretty much like a marriage. It's special because two people CHOOSE each other, they choose to care and CHOOSE to help and even choose to love. During the past two months I have found out who my FRIENDS really are. While things are still upside down here at home, they have calmed down, I have calmed down because of not only my family here at home but because of my friends. Friends who have comforted me, called in favors to help me and just plain listened. I have found out that I have friends that I didn't even know I had. They have extended patience and compassion and have re-instilled my faith in the human race again. I wanted to say thank you to these people ........... you know who you are. I won't mention you here because I know there are people out there who will haunt you wanting to know what has been going on, not because they care (well maybe some) but just because they love the gossip. Such is life. LOL You have to take the good with the bad because in the end how do you know you have something good if you have never experienced something bad? I have experienced bad and probably will continue to do so at regular intervals for the rest of my life. It's ok. Because the "Goods" that I have far outweigh the "Bads" and they will be what keeps me strong. Thank all of you who have cared, stood by me (as it were lol) and kept me from losing (what is left) of my mind. Or as I tell my son "Keeping me from snapping like a bowl of rice krispies" LOL. Seriously, I love you all, my FRIENDS.
OK I am going to go do another post now because I am getting soft in my old age and I am still trying to get used to it lol. Also I need to get my business back on it's feet. It has suffered horribly over the past two months. Take care!

EEeekk. Sorry all. I didn't realize time had slipped away so quickly. As many of you know there have been some family issues going on here. We are still muddling through them but I am hoping that we are coming to a final resolution. Thank you for all the e-mails and well wishes. We appreciate it ;) I intend to write some more but Charles has a second dentist appointment this morning and we need to do a few errands. I do have a "Passionately Pink" freebie to give away and will try to get it up ASAP. It's done, I just need to upload it and see if I am still on the list.
